On Friday the Camping World Truck Series race in Vegas was won by Chandler Smith. Berlin, CT’s Ryan Preece finished fourth. Thad Moffitt had bad luck though and came in 29th in the Clean Harbors sponsored machine located in Norwell, MA.
Also having problems was Boston, MA’s Kaz Grala who finished 30th.
On Saturday it was the Xfinity Series in Glitter Gulch which was won by Ty Gibbs while Brett Moffitt came in eighth in Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our entry. Chris Our is a successful building contractor and calls Harwich, MA home. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT, in another Our Racing entry, came in 17th. Kaz Grala of Boston, MA ended his effort in 22nd.
On Sunday it was the NASCAR Cup race which was taken by Alex Bowman who got by Kyle Larson coming down for the checkered flag. Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano ended up 14th while Corey LaJoie was next in 15th. Corey is the son of Randy Lajoie a two time Xfinity Series Champion who grew up in Norwalk, CT.
